WARNING Carney’s Masterplan TRAPS Trump As Trillions Flow From Wall Street To Canada!

Canada is making a massive investment pitch as Prime Minister Mark Carney hosts the country’s first-ever Canada Investment Summit in Toronto.

With a target of catalyzing C$1 trillion in total investment over five years, the September 14–15 summit brought together major global asset managers, pension funds, sovereign wealth funds and business leaders to examine opportunities across energy, critical minerals, artificial intelligence, infrastructure, manufacturing and transportation.

What makes the story especially significant is the timing. Canada is simultaneously dealing with major trade tensions with the United States and trying to reduce its historical economic dependence on the American market.

At the same time, official Canadian data show that foreign investors purchased a record C$110.2 billion of Canadian debt securities in the second quarter of 2026, including C$80.8 billion of Canadian government bonds. Canadian investors were also continuing to purchase substantial amounts of foreign securities, particularly U.S. equities.

So what is really happening?

Is Canada becoming a more attractive destination for global capital—or is the country still facing deep structural challenges involving productivity, domestic business investment and dependence on the United States?

This video breaks down:

• Mark Carney’s $1 trillion investment ambition
• What happened at Canada’s first Investment Summit
• Why major global investors gathered in Toronto
• The role of U.S. financial institutions and Wall Street
• Record foreign purchases of Canadian debt
• Canada’s long-term investment and productivity challenges
• Why Canadian capital continues flowing abroad
• Canada’s dependence on the U.S. market
• The difference between political rhetoric and investment decisions
• What will determine whether the trillion-dollar ambition becomes real economic growth

The key question is no longer simply how much money Canada can attract.

The real question is what that capital actually builds—and whether it can produce lasting investment, productivity and economic growth inside Canada.
